How We Met
December 2023We met while working together at QuikTrip and didn’t exactly hit it off at first. Kaitlyn wasn’t too eager to welcome someone new, and Jared was just trying to find his footing at a new store. But before long, we started talking more, getting to know each other, and growing closer every day.
Our First Date
January 2024Our first date is a memory that still makes us smile. We went to see Wonka, and although we were both a little awkward and nervous being alone together outside of work for the first time, that’s what made it so special. Somewhere between the nerves and the movie, something clicked, turning that awkward first date into the beginning of something truly meaningful.
Move In
February 2025One of the most meaningful milestones in our journey was moving in together and becoming homeowners in Rhome, Texas—it means more to us than words can express. We’re learning what homeownership truly involves: nothing fixes itself, Google is our go-to guide, and hardware store runs have become our new version of date night. Through it all, we’re so excited for the memories ahead and the life we’re building together.
She Said Yes
April 10, 2025We got engaged at a Dallas Stars game. He was so quiet and nervous on the drive, but I didn’t think much of it. When we stopped for a picture outside the arena, he got down on one knee and proposed. In the middle of all the game night chaos, it became the most perfect, unforgettable moment of our lives. 💍
